Michael Pollan, in his letter to Mr. President Elect titled “Farmer in Chief,” and published in The Food Issue of the New York Times, October 12^th, 2008 describes exactly the why and the relevancy of what we are attempting to do at La Boca – rebuild sustainable, local farms and teach others how to do the same.
